Class V Drive Unit and Malfunctioning AI

The engine was out of tune and the AI seemed to be humming to itself. It was the kind of tune only an AI could follow and it worried me that something that controlled the gravity and air on my ship would sing that badly. The only good thing I could think of was that the targeting AI hadn't decided it need to sing along. Who said life in a mining ship around Mars was going to be easy.
