I can finally record (poorly) off the real hardware myself.
Enjoy all the interfering buzz and hiss. Whee!

Made on a Commodore64 using defMON

Dig the wonky-swing intro!Funkness leads are great too - with ring warbles, you indeed are in possession of the funky feels!

Diggin that authentic sound! Very cool.

You're getting some serious groove out of that box. Loving this track!

good sid ! funky

More sweet chip funk!

haha that noise man... the second it comes on I'm like ^_^
goold old C64 wonkyness, good work

That's a super clean output man!  Lovin' the usually ilKke wonkyness :-D  I might be in Sydney in the next few weeks too.  Lets catch up!!

Oh shit... just noticed filter / modulation work later in the track.... ffuuuuuuuuuuu.  heart

Is this SID-HOP? Really dope, indeed!!!

Does defMon supports double sid configurations? I'm eager to try this one, but I'm loading all my stuff via c642Tape and man, it's slow and clunky. Guess I finally have to get that SD interface/disk drive emulator

Loving this one smile

It does, there's a key to switch between the two sids! It's a bit beta, but I can ask / investigate and let you know how the latest build works with double sids.

C-64?! Hardcore.  Hats off!  Massive beat, great sounds, and those glissandos remind me of O.R.I. in a way.  Well done!

Thanks for the love peeps, means a bunch! heart

I don't think this is any more hiphoplike than my usual funk fare, it's just slowed down a bit smile

Enjoying the phat classic sounds!

real good, playing it again smile

Skweee on!

This is some serious funk!

Your pretty much one of my favorite SID musicians at this point in time.
Glad you can get a decent record too! Keep on SID-ding!
