Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

was recorded in 6/8 but due to a lot of jamming in ableton, some meters wind up being in a meter of 2 or 4. quite a throwaway track this week i'm afraid due to time constraints but at this stage i'm not going to give in and have a week's break!

2/4 and 6/8 are (essentially) the same layout of accent, unless the 6 is changed dramatically. So, 4/4 can be heard as two bars of 6/8 for the same reason. Stress it not! Really nice piece, I love the noisy percussion-y things. I have no idea what they are, but I love that sound and the placement amongst everything else.
