OP-2

By Henrik Sjørslev on April 6, 2014 10:38 pm

All made with the OP-1...except for some bas. No time for proper mixing....hopefully more time for better work next week.

Ah this is gorgeous, sounds like the shambling and forgotten remains of a C64 waking up and walking the streets, looking for its old owner only to find that they've grown up and bought bigger, fancier computers for kids of their own. It feels sad and wanders the night looking for a new purpose (just at the halfway point!)...peering at drunks in alleyways, families in homely windows, before running in a blur towards the distant neon lights of the cityscape...

I genuinely found this track quite moving

Thank you good sir, and thank you for the colourful and quite funny description of the mood in the song. Perhaps this is the cue for me to create a song joining the C64 and the OP-1. ....next week perhaps;)
