Sitari - Home Cinema

By george bowles on April 29, 2012 12:52 am

After much contemplation, I have decided to continue using my old electronic music moniker. I thought that since it's been years that I have been using it, it doesn't make sense to change the name. The "Botanimal' name will be the name of the next Sitari album. This piece was done in an expedited fashion, since the week has been busy and I am doing a show tonight at the Metro (probably not on the main stage though, it's as part of the Resonate music fest).

I'm loving the delay smoosh in this (even a term?)   Where's the Resonate Music Fest held?  There are a few of them that google is showing me. (Canberra is one?)  Clever use of percussion.

I'm in Chicago, got to play a music venue I've been going to for years to see national/international acts play, was pretty neat (even though I didn't get to play the main stage). Thanks for listening ! the "swoosh" delay is a neat analog tape vst that had enough customizable parameters for me to kind of sync it up pretty well with all the other stuff that was going on. I do feel this was a more minimal piece though.

I like your clock-works percussion sounds.  This track moves and throbs.  Hope the festival went well!

Very alive sounding.  Tis cool.
