Nebulous Peril - Iron Claw

By george bowles on October 23, 2016 8:23 am

proud to say back in the original Weekly Beats this extreme metal project of mine was launched. since then i have been working at it as my own solo metal band. i even started recruiting members to play the other instruments live. and it has formed into a real band outside of a bedroom black metal project.

this was just recorded this week along with a whole new album. been tracking the vocals and getting mixes right. album will be up very soon.

Update: https://nebulous-peril.bandcamp.com/album/gravitas it's done!

Scary (but in really good way)! Vocals are like another instrumental layer.

cool thanks! yeah i like vocals especially in metal to be like another instrument smile

Heavy, scuzzy and evil all in a positive way.  Vocals are downright frightening.

ahahahaha nice... yeah it is supposed to be super creepy heavy metal demon vocals. and the whole album sounds scuzzy and heavy because it was recorded on a minimal setup. I actually just got done uploading it, spent hours getting it done. was relatively fast though because it was all one take, even the overdubbed vocals. i had listened to the songs a lot by then and came up with some lyrical themes to give them some definition. but yeah, i love extreme metal crazy ass music and i think this reflects that lol. https://nebulous-peril.bandcamp.com/album/gravitas

a great performance. I love the guitarstuff, the drumming and your voice. I am very impressed. I would like to hear you play live.

thanks! this is pretty live except the vocals are overdubbed. i am still getting used to playing and singing at the same time, but i am slowly getting better at it. some shows i'm a lot better than others. my main problem is that i need lyric sheets.
