I got drunk and ended up playing with my VSS-30. I used it to sample my voice and messed with the synthesis until I made something that was interesting to me. After recording my playing with that patch I eventually came up with a neat little loop that served as my starting point. From there I saved, shut down ableton, and proceeded to forget I ever made any of that until earlier this week. Sober, I layered some sounds and just let the sampled loop I drunkenly made take over and inspire the other parts.
