RHYTHM PERFORMER

By dj someguy on December 18, 2016 8:19 pm

This is a recording of my "test drive" with my new drum machine. It's still a little rough around the edges, but I had a lot of fun trying out the various possibilities.

Sounds like a productive fun test drive to me smile  Really cool reversed parts too.  Gotta love that snare sound! smile

Yeah nice test drive...
The hook is real good...
Can you share a bit about your findings?
Is it the rough TR-8 or did you used vst effects on the drums.
As I understand the TR-8 exports every Drum Track as usb audio interface, did you use this or you use the normal audio out?

This one is really promising, think we will hear lots of great tracks the next weeks...

Hey, thanks!
Basically i only used the tr8 for the drums and did not use any external effects nor any ableton effects. Everything you hear is one long live jam, raw and uncut.
It is pretty straightforward, but so much fun to you around with and really easy and intuitive. Very happy with it.
I recorded ot straight into ableton, the whole thing, on one track.
Obviously the bass and synth are not from the tr8 smile

But yeah, happy with the instrument smile

Fun ride. Very impressive one take!!!

Great job, always fun to get new gear and even more fun when you get great sounds out of it, excited to hear more

Thanks!
Yeah, love the new stuff, even though i am not really that much of a tech-nerd, it poved to be shitloads of fun testing the limits of the drummachine smile
