PISCINOLA PISCINOLA

By dj someguy on March 11, 2016 12:37 pm

This track was kinda inspired by the soundtrack of the movie "Birdman", so I put in live drum sounds.
Apart from that some droning and piano.
Quite simple, but I'm happy with it smile

Very nice, quite relaxing yet strangely haunting, very soundtrack-esque (although I can't say I've seen Birdman). Great job!

Thanks man! Appreciate it! It is indeed not a conventional techno track, though it is 120 Bpm. I put it in a mix i made last week for intergalactic fm and it works smile

I've never been able to sort out all the categories and sub-categories of music; to me there's only good and bad.

This is GOOD.

Nice job, definitely feel an industrial-techno vibe to this

Yeah, true. Though i never meant for it to be industrial. Must have been in a dark mood wink

Really dark yet someway soothing atmosphere. A peculiar piece for a special movie

yeah, ... it's the beauty of WB, I guess, that you can sometimes try something completely different ... (though this was not "completely" different, of course smile

that is amazing. loving the low percussive elements, perfectly filtered!

Some really neat, subtle textures at play here.  It really creates a mood as well.

Love the pulsing bass sound with that snappy snare bouncing in and out.  Nice job!

great work again! cinematic as you wanted it. really good! nice mixing too, everything sits and fits.
miss you on week 11, hope you are doing alright!

Nice track - it does set a mood as CosmicCairns says.
