ANGEL SEA

By dj someguy on August 14, 2016 10:14 am

Sun is shining in Brussels, finally, so no idea why I made this very melancholic track, nevertheless, hope you like it.
Hope y'all having a great great summer!

Also: thank you for all the nice comments the past few weeks. I've been away, travelling here and there, and haven't had the time yet to catch up on all your tracks, nor to write a few thank you's for those who listened to the tracks, but as always I'm very very grateful!

I wanted to sail away and look back once. I liked the choices of sound. The high distorted synth was a bit hot on my headphones. Maybe if they were turned down a little?

I'll check that again, yes. On my headphones it sounded alright, but then again ... when listening over and over and over to the same thing, sometimes you don't hear the imbalances anymore ...
Thanks for listening! smile

I agree. The tune is nice but the high synth is a bit hot.

Excellent! Like most of your tracks it's this kind of music I love for working. Ok sometimes I realize that I've just started daydreaming. This comment took me the whole length of the song wink

I was actually going to say I like the high synth part and the way it kind of stabs through.  It sounds good on my speakers, anyway.

I knew this was you without looking at the name!  I love your brand of minimal techno.  So good.  Would love to see you do a set live one day.

Yeah, I wanted the synth sound to be slightly piercing and on my headphones it sounds quite alright, but am in dubio myself whether turning it down a notch wouldn't be better ... I'll let the track rest for a while now and listen again in a few weeks, maybe then I'll hear it smile Thanks for the commments anyway!!

Thanks man!
My girlfriend bought me this second hand electric drumset (she's the best!) and I used that for the percussion.

Love the feeling of space!
