Mbtech - Real Dealz Featuring Dropbit, Dya, and Jredd

By Diagamblic on February 14, 2016 10:17 pm

I was recently invited to work on an awesome Sega Genesis track with my bros Mbtech, Dropbit and Jredd. One of the most fun things you can do as a composer in a tracker is share a file around with your friends and see what everyone else adds to the song. That's what happened here! Mbtech and Dropbit came up with the beat, chord progression and intro psg melody, I created the main melody, weird pitch bend effect, and ending while Jredd made this very jazzy B section. Finally, I mixed and mastered the track in Renoise after exporting each tracker channel individually. And now the track is ready for your ears!

Also, be sure to follow these guys! They are awesome.

Mbtech
Dropbit
Jredd

Final note. I recently changed my music name to Dya from Diagamblic. Sorry for the confusion!

Great ensemble work! Much liked.

Impressive!  I especially like Jredd's jazzy breakdown.  Congrats to all of you folks for rockin' it

Love that lead melody and pitch bending effect.  I  miss my genesis!  Nice work!

Great song. Love the beat, the jazzy B section as well. Comes together as a unified song very well.
