Waves Come Crashing

Well, hi there. First time posting here ever, so don't expect too much. For the first week, I tried some tried-and-tested-stuff music-wise. Yup, you're right, I like layers of guitars, reverb and distortion. What I also like is to not program things whenever possible and play my toys. then, though, you gotta be good with what you do. This isn't always the case here as you might notice … time flies. Some notes and hits are off, the drums were tracked with an iphone, but oh well … still sounds ok as a first-week submission, iI think. I wish I had had more time to fix my mistkaes, edit some drum and guitar embarassments and toy around with the mix more, but there's more weeks to go. thanks for listening, tell me what you think. advice is greatly appreciated, we're in this together.

Great track!!

Very Very cool man

I like how its recorded and composed on-the-go. Its subtle introductory music for the first week, if you see it as a story being unfolded week by week. If you could add some technical details of what, how and when; I'd love to understand this one better. Listening 341 compositions a week is going to be a daunting task, but I think it'll be a great learning curve too. smile

Cheerz,

Heavy!

Starts out like Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and gets weird. cool stuff.

Really liking this

Definitely one of my favorite of the week

Awesome work for keeping it live!  Cool snare sound there.  Digging the heavy bit later!

Drums wise - could EQ a <100hz up a bit (maybe use a bass extender to get the low end back).  But other wise the rest is pretty rockin'.  (looking forward to hearing more tunes from you)

great atmosphere!

Reminds me of the Hotline Miami soundtrack. Great stuff. Will keep an ear out!

Favourited within the first 30 seconds. I love the raw sound. A bit of an early Isis/Pelican/Neurosis sound. More more more!

Nice work.

It's great!
