Week 6 (Sorry Emily)

By ConfettiTsunami on February 7, 2014 1:58 pm

This week has been quite a self reflective one. In this track I wanted to put across a verity of feelings both happy and sad but reflect them in a numb and woozy way.  Instruments drift in and out of time with the drums and are panned in a verity of ways to try and make it hard for the listener to latch onto them.
The aim was to put across feeling numb and tired when your up at 3 am and your mind is starting to slip.

All instruments were created with The OP1 bar the drums that were done on maschne. Mixed and stereo applied in Ableton Live.

i always look forward to hearing more sounds from you. this really does evoke a strong feeling of numbness.

Great job creating the happy/sad mood, the panning of the sounds works well with the track

great work! you make me want an OP1!

seriously the OP1 is making me want one every track I hear it in or places I see it used.  I really like the melancholy feel and the drifting pads.  Very relaxing track.  Good job smile

Hmm, guess I´m gonna use my OP-1 for my next weeks beat;). Lovely.
