piano trash

Across the street from me, an elementary school was throwing away an old upright piano. I played around and recorded it with my phone and then mangled the audio with the Octatrack. Everything except for the drums are from the piano.

When I was living in Brooklyn, the brothel across the street from me checked out the aerodynamics of an old upright by tossing out of a 3rd story window. I salvaged the keyboard and mounted it on the wall of my apartment. It didn't sound anywhere as nice as yours.

that's awesome... and so is this track!

It's been a while since i commented your stuff but apparently you're still making great tracks. Even in purist mode! Nice idea.

Cool back story and a really neat resulting track.  I would definitely never guess that a lot of these sounds originated from a piano.

Increadibly good sound from a phone. That recording possibility is something I never used. I should work with this device too. Great sounding track and a sweet last concerto of this poor piano. RIP.

incredible glitch ups!  sounds wonderful.

Sounds awesome
