3 weeks in! : )
I started this track in Live 9 by drawing in some random midi notes to try and get inspired. I ended up using guitars, bass, volca beats, volca keys and finally some OP-1 thrown in. I imported the mix into Auria for compression.

nice sounds I am witnessing here. the vintage treatment is great also!

I love this.

very hypnotic track and the guitar sounds sweet!

Love that pitch effect around the guitar, very reminiscent of MBV.

Nice guitar lines and use of the vibrato arm!  Good beat, too--great job.

Only just catching up on your work now and really enjoying it.  Creative, intelligent arrangements and a really refreshing contrast to the plethora of chip-based stuff.

good stuff here, too. curious: what's your reasoning for taking your tracks to the ipad for mastering/compression? what do you like about auria so much? not knocking it, just genuinely curious as i work exclusively in Live, and just use my ipad for soft synths and midi sequencers.

Thanks preciouskindred! The only reason I've gone to Auria for mastering/compression is because I haven't had much luck with Ableton and I've been lazy. I really don't know what I'm doing in that area but I've found Auria to work OK. What's your secret in Live?
