Someone Told Me

So this is my first weeklybeat that has not be a last minute attempt (in most cases, I'm literally bouncing in the last minute). I spent the week on and off developing this one. It's very lo-fi and showcases my misuse of reverb and inability to mix and use compression. But, the 'concept' is there and it's something that I dig.

This has also been my first attempt experimenting with backwards guitar. I would have liked to experiment some more as I don't think I did a good job at all.

This song is just drums and guitar with absolutely no bass, so I'd like to revisit this one day and get a groovy counter melody baseline happening. I think some keys would be nice too.
