For this weeks track, I again used one MIDI file to generate different results with different Reaktor Ensembles, both for instruments and effects. This MIDI file had two separate tracks in the file, so I used the different tracks to create different effects.

After generating the clips in Bigwig, I put the clips into the clip launcher view.  I then used a Launchpad to live arrange the assembled clips while recording them into a Zoom R-16.  After this, I used an Elekton Analog Four to add different droning textures, recorded live into the R-16.

I then took the live recorded tracks into Audacity, where I added normalization to the tracks. After mixing the tracks, I then duplicated the live recorded tracks, where I effected them with Absynth.

Nice ambience with a little touch of industrial sounds.  Very nice.  I could listen to those detuned synths drones all day.  What is BigWig?

Those last synths that drone and sweep, were those made on the Analog Four?  They sound so good.  I am wondering how I can make those on cheapo equipment.

Yes, they are presets on the A4.  I know they both have a good amount of chorus, delay and reverb on them. I would look at the A4 manual for a more detailed look at the A4 architecture.

I do know that one of the LFOs on the moving pad was set to Sample and Hold, hopefully that helps a bit.
