Alpha and Omega

For this week’s track, I thought I would dive into the final Monthly Acid Pattern (at least in the current, Soundcloud, incarnation). It’s sad to see the Group on Soundcloud end, but hopefully it won’t be permanent.
I decided to double the August 2016 pattern with two ABL3s in Reason. For the first ABL3, I sent the unit into an Etch Red, the second ABL3 was sent into a Blamsoft ReSampler. I then sent the output of both mix channels into a mix bus.
For the drums, I used a Redrum into Decimort. I processed the kick drum into a Bass Drum Compressor Combinator.
For the bass line, I used a Thor into a Pulverizer. For the Chord Stabs I used a Parsec with CV Control over different parameters by a Pulsar.
After live mixing and automating the ABL3s controls, I used a Synchronous & The Echo as Insert FX. For the Master FX, I used an Audiomatic, Peff’s Hexpressor & Ozone.
