fragment (LSDJ)

ugh, this one turned out really messy and it's super short, but it's got some nice moments here and there!  i thought i would just do an outright dancey track and just get some mindless grooves going, but for whatever reason i couldn't come up with that many compelling ideas compositionally, the melody is kind of all over the place.

this is mostly a sound design exercise anyway to see if i could get some nice kick / snare sounds that i personally thought would be dance-worthy, so in that respect at least, i think i succeeded.

i think i'll probably revisit this again in the future.  didn't quite fulfill my hope to get this to a legit "completed" state, but it was definitely worthwhile to start it.

1xLSDJ, rendered from BGB emulator.  ( i would have recorded it out of my DMG but as of this post i only have 10 mins before the deadline, yikes)

OH if you want more gameboy music from me, i released an album recently through the esteemed Ubiktune netlabel: http://bryface.bandcamp.com/album/various-topics

spOOked: ugh i can't believe that woman ruined my tetris cart, this sucks, ugh

Very nice! Im always amazed at some of the sounds a DMG can make.

im fairly certain it would take me all 52 weeks if i wanted to compose something close to what you are capable of doing in lsdj

Always very impressed with your drum sounds and drum patterns. Also, those arps you've got going here, as well as on your last release btw, are absolutely bonkers!

Dig the groove and the arps a lot! I bet programming on this one is pretty crazy
