I like your voice.  Nice song.

Thank you!

Nice job! I always love the acoustic guitar vocals combination, it's nice and intimate. Umm, there were a few small issues, like the vocals sometimes dominated over the guitar and there was a little clipping. I assumed that was because you were recording your whole thing in one go. Maybe doing separate vocal and guitar tracks would help those issues. Anyway though the song was great, minor issues aside. Lovely voice smile

As a follow up to John's comment, you can download open source Audacity software if you don't currently use mixing software.  It's totally free.  It won't do everything that a true DAW does, but it's really good software for what it does and it will allow you to record multiple tracks (eg, one for vocal/one for guitar).  You can even use it to do your own background vocals and harmonize with yourself.

great voice and a great melody!

Minor issues aside. Great voice, nice song, very folk-ish. Try out softer singing with a wee bit off-guitar tuning, if you can. Might be interesting to see what you can come up with then! smile

p.s. try listening to Aren't You Clever by Mr. Special and Laurie Webb

Thanks for the recommendation! I absolutely love that song! I'll experiment with the softer singing and off-tune guitar. Sounds interesting.

& Thanks to everyone for the input. smile
