Starfish

I've been procrastinating on uploading something new! So, here I am back in the game. I really appreciate the feedback I received on my first song.. There's a lot I need to learn about audio recording/mixing/editing. I have Audacity, and I used a bit of re verb on this song with that program, but I unfortunately didn't record the guitar and vocals separately, so it's not as clean as I'd like it to be. Hopefully next time I can experiment more with recording separately and apply some of the advice I received before. I'm just trying to build my confidence as a singer/songwriter by completing a song--music/lyrics--hopefully every week, so then I can have a bank of songs to draw from! smile

Good to hear that you're back. You sound really good and I hope you didn't take any of the advice as criticism because even without the fancy mixing and recording separate tracks you sound spectacular.

Oh no, not at all. The advice is helpful. Thank you!

The theme of music is really good, though I have some issues grasping the lyrics clearly.

Though I suggested it last time, you dont need to record the guitar and vocals separately, in stead you can try to adjust mic positions and sensitivity (if you manage two mics); and probably clear out both from wav files later on. The songs are really good overall. If you need any help, let me/us know. smile

A request: if you could add lyrics, it would help non-english speakers (like myself) to get the words clearly. smile
