File this under House/Techno. Compositionally and arragnement wise I'm pleased with my work. I might lose the female vocal at a later date. Mixing and Mastering was a nightmare. Nothing seems to sit right; couldn't get the drums punchy w/o lost of compression and I'm Still redlining. The whole thing must be mixed down and master again. I need to bone up on my compression basics.

I like the track, though I can hear what you mean with the mix: overall it seems pretty quiet...but I'm going to guess that there's some frequency somewhere (probably in the low bass) that's eating up your available headroom.  If you slap a spectrum analyzer on your stereo master bus, I'll bet you'll see it.

To get some punch, have you tried sidechaining the percussion? Here's a brief tutorial that explains it.  Good luck!
