Ran out of time badly this week, was working on two ideas, both of which turned out to be complete pants. This idea wasn't really working either, only for the lack of any other idea did i stick with it. Ingredients: 2 x gtr, bass, 2 x soft synths, emulated 909, sampled drums.

Various parts fighting supremacy.  I think the track falls together at the halfway mark nicely.  Perhaps you were too attached to that arpeggiated synth sound?  So yeah, just crank the heavies  big_smile

This is nice! Way better than incomplete pants.

First google image result for "incomplete pants":

Thanks for the comments guys. @rdomain Im thinking the same thing now, the problem i always had with this tune was the intro. Should have dropped the clean guitar with the phase 90 on it, and also the slappy bass pedal part at the start. If the song started more like it does at the build up about two thirds in, it would have worked better. I agree with you about the synth part also, although I'm thinking it could sound ok if it was used just over the heavy rhythmic guitar part (like at the end), but maybe with a bit of dirt on it. Ah well, live and learn smile

Nice and heavy. Great track!
