Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I procrastinated myself into a corner and had to slop together this mess today so I could submit a piece before the deadline. Not happy with it at all, but I guess every week can't be an all-star. If I were give myself enough time to refine this, I'd... Well I'd scrap the whole thing.

i feel you on the deadline crunch. i think this could be pretty rad if you just dropped the drums altogether and put some reverb or a longer decay on that trumpety-sounding synth? it would be pretty dope adventure game end credits music. just a thought though! if this is deadline slop, you're off to a good start.
Sweet melodies here! It makes me think of Cave Story, more because of the mood and title rather than the tune itself - nice work 
Cave Story is definitely what I had in mind putting this together! And thanks for the suggestions, fmcave; I will give those a shot! The drums are kinda wacked out on this one.
