Rotor Blades

First off, I'm gonna stop making dramatic exits. I'm gonna post music when I feel it and when things come together. I'll stop with the whole youtube thing and official "week this, week that" but I'm just going to do it when it happens. Today, this song just got pieced together; I had inspiration.

If you heard last week's song, you'll recognise the drum beat. In fact I used the recording of me playing the drums in all three of August's songs so far. This section (looped) of the recording is much better, and I've edited it a lot. I'm much more proud of this song than I am of last week. The name proves that you are hearing a helicopter, and I think the music represents that too. I messed around with the beat a lot. Also featuring a looped recording of guitar and samples used in "glass corridor" (you may recognise them), this song makes a different atmosphere and rhythm to most of my other songs. Made using mainly ZynAddSubFX and primary recordings. Made with LMMS

Great drum work--I really like the tightness of these sounds, and I'm digging the variations as well.  Nice melody and reverb, too.

Yes indeed, it sounds different from other tunes. Maybe it's a little more IDM that your usual DnB stuff. Glad to hear it!

As a professional advice: I could swear the helicopter is an Eurocopter EC135, very popular in the UK, specially in the London area smile
