Rise of the Hill Folk

By A Thorny Succulent on February 21, 2014 10:32 pm

I decided to go with the "gradual change" theme here. Slow to fast, folky and upbeat to dark and intense, major to minor, basic MIDI sound to the final VOPM instruments I ended up using. This is the first time I've shown the original MIDI sounds of a song along with the final instruments. It's something I've been wanting to try for a while and it was pretty fun!

Hope y'all enjoy ;D!

Oh yeah and I keep forgetting that all of my time-signature tags haven't been working because of the whole "no non alphanumeric" thing so I'll remember to post it here (in case anyone cares I also edited some of my older submissions so they should all include the time signatures they were written in).

This track was written in 4/4 and 5/4.

Great! Good instrumental choices & tempo shifts. Best of all, you can dance to it.
