Ok, so I wasn't able to upload my songs from the last couple weeks, so I smashed them all into one track for you Listerine pleasure.

Week 37 - Locket
from Years Missing - Song A Week Project by Old And Gray

Did you wake up naked in a room again?
I know that I’ve been there before in dreams

But this time it’s you…

A creepy bitch lurking hard in the corner alone.
Time travelers transposing through the floor to you
Bad habits take a bite and crack the veil
How come you get all the fuck in the world?

A puppet, a locket and wine at 2am
I’ve even made a box for you
Could you please mark it yes or no
Cause my heart points right to you

I know it’s hard for us to know
But I should ask where your heart would go
If you let it roam through the night and day…
Like a mad dog without a leash?

And the witch-hunt is on again
There’s a first time for everything
There’s a line around the whole damn city for you
There’s a lie around the whole damn city for me

Week 38 - Payvy (starts at 02:08)
from Years Missing - Song A Week Project by Old And Gray

This track marks the most trip hoppy song of the year (my year that is).

I wonder how obvious it is that this song has the same lyrics as Locket? Strange concept right... seemed to work here for some strange reason.

Week 39 - Ladyboner Dentata (starts at 3:57)
from Years Missing - Song A Week Project by Old And Gray

Watch out... this one has teeth.

I can help you plan
I can tickle the walls that ceased to breathe
A carnival of tact
Tracing lines to usher change

I swear I’ll text you back
Cause you tend to crack me up
Thank god for extra shirts
Thank god it hides your lady-boner

I understand
I’ve made up the look in your eyes

Let me pay you back
Give me a chance to make it better.

I’ll take you out tonight
To thank you for your inclusive nature

We’ll dance in the rain again.

Week 40 - Mingus' Middle Finger (starts at 07:10)
from Years Missing - Song A Week Project by Old And Gray

Trying to pay homage to Mingus. His Black Saint And The Sinner Lady album is the bane of my existence.

My taste for laser is entirely unsociable
But still, today the sun was redder than ever before

Goddammit

The earth has a secret that it needs to tell before it’s gone
Through the thick and dim,
Through the muck and the desperate house wives

In his print, things find a way to exhale…
Growling mad men are this way too,
They claw their way up through the silk of it

Week 41 - Hell Bent (starts at 09:34)
from Years Missing - Song A Week Project by Old And Gray

This week I spent a little more time exploring how to write for a bass clarinet type of "voice". Spent a good amount of time toying with dynamics in a computer world too. Ehh!

This one turned out pretty fun though. Reminds me of NIN a little. Cant wait to play it live (hopefully while opening for Master Reznor bwa hah)

I wont ever blink - -
cause this might vanish
She’s a beauty queen - -
on the railroad

While I’m twisting things
She won’t stop the metal
She’s been visioning
Past life regressions

What’s that rumbling sound
Way off in the dark
Tied up but hell bent
You can’t keep ideas down

I’d keep the secret for you
The mask is just a phase come true
The sky feels infinite and dark
The twinkle is in your eye decides to fade

What’s that rumbling sound
Way off in the dark
Tied up but hell bent
You can’t keep ideas down

grabbed and faved!

fantastic as always, darker in some ways
